76'ers Basketball Camp for Kids in New Jersey
Learn from the Sixers and local coaches in your own South Jersey neighborhood.
If you're serious about improving your basketball skills and you are 7-13 years old, you don't have to look far. The Sixers Basketball Day Camp program is conducted at Katz JCC in Cherry Hill. Supervised by experienced basketball coaches from your community, each five-day session reviews the fundamentals of basketball. At the end of the week the campers will show their parents what they have learned in our "SKILLS SHOW" Friday at 2:30pm.
The week long basketball camp also features instructional sessions with current and former NBA players and coaches.
In other words, you'll work on your game with some of the best in the business and have fun doing it. Improve every part of your game, whatever position you play.
- Ball Handling
Learn how to protect the ball and dribble with either hand. - Passing
Will teach you the 5 basic passes and when to use them. - Offense with and Without the Ball
Learn how to shake your defender and get in triple threat position. - Shooting
Learn the fundamentals of shooting (off the pass and off the dribble) and how to make a lay up with either hand. - Rebounding
Learn how to box your man out and attack the offensive boards. - Defense
Learn a proper defensive stance, how to move your feet and stay with your man.
JCC Adult Basketball Leagues
The JCC Adult Basketball League is hands-down the best in the Cherry Hill area. Besides our daily pick-up games in the gym, the Katz JCC adult basketball leagues are fun, safe, and the best bang for your buck. The Men's Basketball Leagues vary in competitiveness and age groupings. Whether it is the 40 years old and over Men's Masters Basketball League, or the competitive Men's Adult Basketball league for ages 22 years and over, you are sure to have a positive recreational experience. Referees provided. Awards to the winners. Limited number of players.

The Sussman 3-on-3 Competition
The 3-on-3 basketball tournament held at the Cherry Hill Katz JCC. Committed to organizing and operating an outstanding 3-on-3 tournament, the event format consists of round-robin competition followed by a single elimination tournament. The Sussman 3-on-3 Competition also features skills events.
